Builders are quick to jump on the Loft bandwagon calling their generic condos, "Lofts", hoping to reel in potential unsuspecting buyers.
Traditionally a Loft, in it's former life, would probably have been an old warehouse, factory or industrial space that has been converted into residential units maintaining it's original structure.
